lose of hair

I have been through a health trauma and am losing more hair than I did after my weight loss surgery. Can you suggest a remedy? I have been using Nioxin for about 2 years. How about Biotin and Zinc? If so what strength. Please help ASAP. Thanks. Wendy J

I take 2 Biotin Extremes a day (from Walmart) and it has helped slow my loss down! I was told to take biotin daily from the start of my surgery. I am only two mos post op so the hair issue has not started with me.. But,,, the manicurist told me Ihad great nails and that is due to the biotin. I take 60 mg in addition to what is in my vitamins
