Low blood platelet count after surgery

Has anyone with Lupus had an issue with a low blood platelet count after surgery? Donna C.

Have had an issue with sudden drop in platelets... not post surgery... but stress (surgery) is often enough to precepitate a flare??? And when I flare, platelets can often be the marker to let me know that. B
