Are there any military spouses having Referrel Problems?

I had a gastric bypass back in 1988. Unfortunately I only loss 45 pounds after a year, and yes that 45 lbs PLUS has come back. I am trying to get a revision but am getting the run around. I have found a doctor in Jacksonville Fl (2 hrs from where I live) but the hospital (military) do not want to give me a referrel because this Doctor excepts Tricare Prime BUT is not a provider. Any suggestions?

if you are >50 miles from CONUS go to a civilian DR for a referral. champus should cover it then. go local better care
