Lucky Me, I have been approved for the DS!!!

I was leaving for a weigh in and nutritional review Tuesday morning when my phone rang.  It was my surgeons office asking if the first week of October worked for my DS surgery!  I was stunned.  They said they had a letter of approval from my insurance and I was good to go!  I was so freaked, I said I couldn't do it.   There was some mistake!  I have a 6 month wait and I am only 4 months into the program!  So I went to my appointment and guess what?  I am approved.  I ran over to the surgeons office and I am now booked to have my DS surgery on October 4, 2011!  I am so excited.  I have so much too do!  I cried when I told my husband.  I upset him.  He thought I was sad.  Our 7 year old daughter said "Daddy, can't you see she is happy?"  Men just don't get the happy tear thing!  I have so much to do to get ready.  I still just can't believe my luck!

Congrats!!!  You are going to be sooo super happy you made this choice.  ( Not that you aren't now)   Dr.  Hill is absolutly amazing!! 

Thank you to all for your support.  Amber,  I am having the DS because when I went to my second seminar it was given by Dr.  Hill.  He was an amazing speaker.  He said at my weight and with my lifestyle that the DS would be a good choice.  Linda gave the same advice.  They are so amazing at AMC.  I see you have already lost 21lbs.  Keep up the good work!

They are all so great up there.  I have always had great experiences   Yeah since the pre op diet it is been melting off.  Quite amazing! 

Congratulations!!! Getting my date was one of the best feelings in the world. You have no idea how fast the time is going to fly now!
