hernia question

not sure if I spelled that correctly however my question is : the doctor asked if I have a hernia and I was wondering (due to the fact I have had three c-sections and am not sure) if I do and what does that mean? Will they do the surgery or will I have to have it fixed first what could be the complications? and if I do and don't know until they open me up for surgery what will happen?

It is no big deal. If you have one they will fix it when they do the surgery. From what I have read they fix any hernia that is anywhere near the abodmen even hiatel hernia's. Do not worry. If they get in and find one, they will just sew it right up for you.

Could be a plus. I hear if you have a hernia, insurance will pay for a tummy tuck if it's done at the same time as the hernia repair.
