4 weeks post op is this normal!
It's quite normal if you're only getting in 25oz of liquid. You're seriously dehydrated. Your body needs 64oz minimum every day. This is a full-time job right now and not at all pleasant, so just do it. You may need an IV of fluids to get you back on track. Give the doc a call before kidney stones come next.

What does your surgeon say? Dehydration can certainly cause nausea!

I am no doctor but it sounds like you might be very dehydrated. And, I am no NUT (nutritionist) but if you have to choose right now between water and protein shakes, keep n mind that you cannot live withou****er. But since you are only 4 weeks out, you will have time to get the protein you need. It will come about but you have to drink enough water.
