I am 4 weeks post op and still have this sick nauseous feeling. Can't get but about 25 oz of liquid down and one protein shake maybe a couple of bites of a yogurt. I feel so sick and smells or taste good. Absolutely no hungar. Is this normal for 4 weeks out?

I went through the same thing.  I how episodes of feeling nauseous for a couple of months.  You may be dehydrated because that causes it.

It's quite normal if you're only getting in 25oz of liquid.  You're seriously dehydrated.  Your body needs 64oz minimum every day.  This is a full-time job right now and not at all pleasant, so just do it.  You may need an IV of fluids to get you back on track.  Give the doc a call before kidney stones come next.

What does your surgeon say?  Dehydration can certainly cause nausea!

I am no doctor but it sounds like you might be very dehydrated.  And, I am no NUT (nutritionist) but if you have to choose right now between water and protein shakes, keep n mind that you cannot live withou****er.  But since you are only 4 weeks out, you will have time to get the protein you need.  It will come about but you have to drink enough water.
