I am 62 and post-menopausal. Recently started bleeding quite heavily. Started getting tested for that. Follow up appts on the 19th and 20th. MY weight loss consult is next week on the 7th. Will one conditiob interfere with the other? This stinks.

Post menopausal women should NOT have vaginal bleeding.  Taking care of that situation absolutely takes priority over WLS.

I agree with SHARYN. Go ahead and go to your wt loss consult on the 7th, but BE HONEST about your other medical stuff-they are going to find out anyway-this is your HEALTH, your LIFE. We all know how anxious you are to get on with the weight thing, but, like S said, bleeding post mens, is NOT "normal". I'm trusting you have had bloodwork, sonograms, etc???

Best of luck to you, and please keep us updated. Crossing fingers and toes for you!

The doc tried to do an endometrial biopsy, but top of cervix was closed tight. I was given a scrip for cytotec for the night before a repeat the day after an ultrasound. They are looking out for me.
