I have been reading a little on the stomaphyx procedure and would like any input.  Has anyone had this performed and was it successful? Also, was there any insurance coverage on it?

It is an ineffective procedure, and will be a waste of your money. Please research revision to the duodenal switch (DS), for it is the most effective remedy for any failed wls.

It seemed very promising a few years ago.  People lose about 20 pounds after the procedure and then gain it back.

If you;'re looking into it for yourself you'd likely benefit more from daily presence on OH to deal with the challenges of being longer out from surgery. THe data is very dismal. Can you share your details? I can assure you no matter what they are....you aren't alone. Susan
