Got My Date

 So I know I don't post on here alot, have been more of a lurker but love reading everyone's posts.

So I met with Dr. Aarts today at TWH and I have been booked for surgery on September 21, 2011.  My surgery will be at TEGH though and my surgeon with actually be Dr. Cyriac.  I didn't get to meet with him but I'm sure I'm in good hands.

So Opti-Fast starts on Sept 7th, eek!!!

I will need a motel nearby and it looks like Delta Chelsea is pretty close.  Does anyone know if they have a hospital rate??

Delta chelsea does have a hospital rate. I think the clinic or surgeons office has to book it or give you a letter.  My brother just did it when my mom was in Mt Sinai.  They said it was still pricey though.

It's always great to hear others getting their surgery dates!  And yours is on my wedding anniversary, so we'll share the date!

 Hi, just to check, you are saying your surgery will be at TEGH? that is not near the Delta Chelsea. If it is TGH then it is just a short walk to the hospital. You  will want to check that before you book the hotel. Toronto has lots of hospitals and it gets confusing.
Don't worry about the optifast, I really enjoyed the chocolate and just added cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg to the vanilla.
