Reconstructive procedures after WLS

I had my WLS this past Dec.9th and have since lost over 200 pounds. I now have some very "saggy" skin in places. My insurance is saying they won't cover corrective procedures because it is cosmetic surgery...even though my Drs have verified that the excess skin effects my walking and balance. I have heard that there are Drs & hospitals that will do the procedures for free if I donate the excess skin for burn victims. Does anyone know anything about this and if so, can you please point me in the right direction?! Thanks!!!

I have a friend that her cousin is having this done but she is not sure where it is other than she thinks somewhere in New Orleans. I have asked her to check into it for me. When I find out some news I will be sure to pass it on. Rhonda
