Wayne Hulon Psychologist
Wayne was very helpfull to me before the operation, I think he helped me most showing me the I could impower myself to handle my weight. During his seminar I learned a lot about myself and my past, and present. I wish I could attend more of the support group meeting during my first year out, but I was unable to. But as far as I am concerned Wayne and Dr. Procter make excellent partners.
Wayne works closly with Dr. Dan Proctor (in Gainesville,GA) & the bariatric center at NE GA Med Ctr, so he has a lot of first hand experience & knowledge working with the obese. He hits the nail on the head, while remaining sensitive to your needs as an individual. He takes your mental health seriously & doesn't dismiss any comments or feelings you may divulge. His weekend workshops are eye openers. You can't "hide" from Wayne--he will get to the core and open you up. He is affectionately known as "Dr. Phil"...LOL! Dr. Proctor requires that you go through Wayne's program before he does surgery because so many people have bariatric surgery & are ill equiped to handle the aftermath of surgery---how to live as a slender person with that "fat person" outlook. They have a great after care program that does involve Wayne--so these people are in for the long haul!
