Martha Cain Psychologist Ph.D

I called this person for an appointment. I thought I heard her say on her answering service that she was out of her office that particular day. She said to page her if it was an emergency. It was an emergency to me so I paged her. She called me back and told me that from now on I need to leave all messages on her answering service because she has no secretary and she is between patients. She said it in a really nasty tone too. Then she went on to tell me that She charges 125 per 50 minute block and that my session is going to run me 700.00. I will need to be prepared to pay it up front and let the insurance company reinburse me. She also went on to tell me that if this is not sutible enough for me please call her back and let her know so that my appointment can be cancelled and that she can give it to another patient. I wonder if this one even cares about me or is it the money she's after. I found another Psycologist in Vicksburg, MS and I don't have to worry about paying 700.00 up front. I pay 13.00 and my insurance picks up the rest.
