Lowell Snitchier Psychologist PH.D
The only problem that I had with Doctor Snitchler, was we agreed that I would see another doctor because I lived out of town, and he wanted a note stating that I was being seen by this other doctor. I did that, then he changed his criteria, and it delayed me getting my paperwork done almost 2 weeks. Other than that small glitch, I really enjoyed the conversations that were had.
Today I had my consultation with Dr Snitchler at Nevada Behavioral Health. He is a seemingly stuffy older gentleman with a comb-over, that ended having a very unexpected wit. He would make a joke that would sort of sneak up on me. Anyway he was very nice, first asking general questions about me, then asking me food-related questions, and then some standard mental health questions. Nothing was scary, nothing uncomfortable, and I never felt like I was being tricked or tested. He ultimately said he felt there was no emotional-mental barrier that would prevent or postpone the surgery. So YAY! The only negative was that he said my results would be sent to my surgeons office PROBABLY by Friday, but DEFINITELY by NEXT Friday. This is only an issue because we all obviously want to get an approval as soon as possible. Overall a 10 out of 10, and extra credit will be added for speed!
