I was referred to this doctor by the Bariatric Program at Baptist Hospital because he accepts Medicare. He decided that I needed 6 weeks of therapy before he would approve my bariatric surgery. The time consisted of me keeping a diary of eating. I was supposed to eat 6 times a day for the 6 weeks. After I filled out my diary completely, he decided that I could be approved for the surgery. I never followed his plan and the diary was entirely made up. I decided that I could play his game. I feel it was a waste of the insurance's and my money. The only good thing he did was approve me for surgery. I would NOT recommend him to anyone! This is my personal opinion based on my personal experience with him.

Dr. DeSonier and his nurse Betty were the best. I would recommend them to anyone. Very honest, open and he definitely had my psychological profile down to a tee. Wonderful people.

I was extremely impressed with Dr. DeSonier. He seemed to know this field well, and I found the results of the testing fascinating. I would recommend this office to everyone.
