Joel Kestenbaum Psychologist PhD

I found Dr. Kestenbaum to be insightful and non-assuming. He is very committed to making sure that patients are treated with dignity and respect. He is kind, yet effective. My therapy with him has helped me resolve long-term issues. He is trained in EMDT therapy for individuals w/PSTD. He is at the presentations for Dr. Duckett/Oweis and is trained to do psych's to assess feasibility for WLS. While my insurance may not pay for the surgery, I have been very fortunate to have met Dr, Kestenbaum as a result of the WLS seminar.

If you are honest be careful and if there is anything in your childhood that is questionable don't tell him because it puts a red flag up and he will not approve the surgery.
