Jeffrey R. Wilbert Psychologist PhD

Dr. Wilbert was wonderful!! I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a psych evaluation for surgery. He specializes in weight issues, and has co-written a book on the topic with his wife - who has also struggled with weight loss. Very sensitive, very understanding.

He was very nice. But he kinda came off like a stuffed shirt if you know what I mean. Very pristine and professional. Not very personable or outgoing. You watch movies like Good Will Hunting and want to know where the shrinks like Robin Williams are hiding:) Or if they even exist at all!!

I'm not sure just how I feel yet. Dr. Wilbert is very nice. A little quiet. Because I also do counseling and am sitting on the other side of the desk this is a little frustrating to me. He appears to be very educated int the area of dealing with obesity and emotional eating.

Seemed to be very knowledgeable in his field and I was very comfortable talking to him. He is sincere and very helpful and he offered to take me on as his patient if I would like to start therapy.

This guy was awesome. He was very understanding of how hard it is for obese people in society. I'd recommend him to ANYONE!!
