Dr. Wellens is not a normal psych that Belling Bariatric Treatment sends one to but he was covered on my insurance and I did not want to wait over a month to see the dr. that Bellin wanted to send me to. Since Dr. Wellens is not a normal provider for the WLS he was unsure what exact tests had to be done. I had to ask Bellin Bariatric Center what additional tests he needed to give me. He also wanted me to come back one to many times to go thru things and I felt it was so that he could get a good amount of money out of me and my ins company. His charge per hr was $140.00 and he wanted 2 hr sessions each time. Also I was only the 2nd WLS patient he has seen.
