David Sarwer Psychologist PHD

I saw Dr. Sarwer as part of my clearance for bariatric surgery. I found him to be honest, supportive, thoughtful and helpful. He gave me some extremely practical suggestions for coping with the aftermath of surgery, and clearly worked with me as a unique individual. I found him quite respectful and very honest. He has a difficult job to do in evaluating people's emotional readiness for surgery, and I felt he took this responsibility quite seriously.
I enjoyed my session with him very much and would highly recommend him to anyone in the process. Excellent clinician!!

I grade him the worst of the worst in every area. He degraded me in many ways such as: After I told him I was abused by my father and the men at my place of employment were getting raises that I should have been getting... He said "did anyone ever tell you that you have a problem dealing with men" This all happened in the first 10 minutes of being with him. I walked out of the room and went to a different hospital because I don't want surgery from anyone who would deal with someone in this field that is this shallow and mindless.
