Teri Holtzclaw Psychologist Ph. D.

She is 7 years post op so she knows how it feels to be in my place. She was great. Asked me things that I had not even thought about!!

She had this surgery & I felt she was more honest about the changes I would face, than someone who didn't go through this. I highly recommend Dr Teri!

Dr. Holtzclaw is excellent! She has had the surgery so she knows what she is talking about. It was just like talking to a good friend.

I found Dr Teri to be particularly insightful considering she has first hand knowledge of the surgery and the doctors involved. I can't imagine anyone who could offer a more in depth view or a more comprehensive understanding of the process.

Dr. Holtzclaw (or Dr. Teri for ease) is not just a Psychologist specializing in Bariatric surgery, but also a former patient. She was/is an asset and my champion for supporting me through my insurance dilemma.

Dr. Teri was awesome...it was like sitting down and talking with a old friend....totally comfortable, I was really relaxed and open with her. She's great !!!! Having been a WLS patient herself and having great success, she's totally on the same page with all of us going thru this journey.

Being a WLS patient, Dr Teri is very compassionate and supportive of the many non health related issues each of us face daily.

Dr. Teri has gastric bypass surgery in 1996, and is very helpful for pre-op and post-op patients. She is also an author of books for bariatric patients.
