Dale Veith Psychologist Ph. D
I had an appointment pre Bariatric. Dale had me opening up about things I never wanted to talk about. I was very comfortable, and am looking in to becoming a regular with him, because I know losing weight and changing has more to do with your head than anything else. I was so nervous going in, but felt good when I left. I was blown away by 1 review I read, I didn't find him that way at all, but everyone is different in their feelings. I would recommend him, and I didn't believe in talking to professionals about personal issues. gardengirlblue
I don't know how anyone could rate this guy as a good professional. He is a very sick person himself. In psychological meetings he kept asserting how important he was to the team's evaluation of the patient's readiness. He kept insisting he was the gatekeeper. I see now he wanted to gain maximum control over the patient for his own purposes, not to be helpful. I found him to be malicious, a liar who denied he said things he had said, when questioned by other members of the team. He was inappropriate and violated his oath as a psychologist, because he sought to do as much harm as possible to his patient. Avoid him and the clinic that protects him if you want a good weight loss experience.

Dale was terrific, I had never been to a psychologist before and was required to have a pre-op evaluation with him. He made me feel very comfortable immediately and had me laughing all throughout the appointment. He has a lot of experience with obesity and was overweight himself at onetime so he truly understands what you are going thru. He gave good advice as to what to expect post-op and was never preachy but was willing to answer any question I had.
