I felt that he actions were both unprofessional and unethical. During our consult she kept bringing up my age and how young I was to have this surgery. She suggested why not wait 5 or 10 years. At the end of my session, she wished my well, and said that the would send the paperwork over to my surgeon. The next day she called me and said that she would only appove my evaulation if she spoke with my parents. I explained to her that I am 24 and quite competent to make a decision regarding my own health. Regardless of this she wanted to speak with my mother, and had to do it that day because she was leaving for vacation that afternoon. If she wasn't able to speak with her that day, she wasn't going to approve my evaulation and told me that I was going to have to change the appointment with my suregon that I waited 2 months to get. I felt that she was condesending, and rude...I wouldn't recommend anyone go to her.
