Robin Apple Psychologist Dr.
Dr. Apple seems to have no sensitivity whatsoever to the plight of the overweight. She does all the talking, barely letting the patient get a word in edgewise. Stanford desperately needs to take a survey of bariatric patients' satisfaction with their psychologist and take action accordingly. Dr. Apple has no business evaluating the obese.
she was late seeing me after i drove three hours to be there on time, then she took less than 1/2 hour to tell me things very fast and i was out the door no more informned that when i came in. she is horrible if you call her back for suggesgtions! she told me to ask another person! i would not recomend her other than i had to see her as she was the only one stanford would allow.
After about 2 weeks pasted with me leaving voicemails here & there; I was FINALLY able to get in touch with her and schedule the appointment!! Unfortunately, the appointment is now a MONTH from the time when I started calling in - but what can you do I suppose.
She seems very nice enough, but her schedule is not very accommodating. She schedules her own appointments & doesn’t see patients after [working] hours (9-5) or on weekends. So if you want to get in to see her, its going to have to be during the working day.
So all in all, thus far:
she's not easy to contact with in the first place
not very sensitive to time restrictions for the working person
