Dr Varsha has been my psychiatrist for more than 2 years. I went initially for an evaluation and she helped me overcome depression and emotional eating. I had seen several psychiatrists before, but she understands the struggles I have faced being overweight most of my life. I feel I have done very well under her care for the last 2 years and am finally ready to get the surgery! Thank you
I was so happy to meet Dr Vaidya, she made me feel comfortable and calm. She really seemed to understand my battle. She was kind and a great listner, knew what she was talking about and genuinely cared.
Functions more aptly as a pharmaceutic rep than physician. Appeals to a patient's interpersonal turmoil about weight gain. Is friendly unless you function as an intelligent free thinking human being, then switches off the charm to become scornful and accusatory. Pushes brand name drugs. Compromises her privacy obligations re: private paying clients. Is extremely shallow and self-impressed without cause. Her interests lie with growing her practice. Shows low regard for people of color unless they act subservient. She is less than ethical in how she practices medicine. She uses ones obesity as her vehicle to build her practice and align herself with drug companies dealing in antidepressant medicines.
My first words to Dr. Vaidya was my your young. And we laughed. She was very nice and very helpful. She said she would approve me for surgery. Her secretary Katherine was the tops. She said she would have my letter faxed over to EHP by the end of the day.
My visit went very well. Dr Vaidya was very nice and pleasent. Connie had to come down stairs to take us up to the Dr.s office, which was in the old part of the hospital, and it would have been a very huffy puffy walk for me , but Connie got me a very WIDE wheel chair and made me very much at ease. My husband did the pushing and the visit went well.
