Dr. Canning was unbelievably supportive of my decision to go forward with WLS. If it weren't for her support and encouragement, I'm not sure I would have found the courage to go through with it. She has done nothing but take care of me with love and care through this entire 2+ year adventure.
She's no-nonsense and yet at the same time you always get the feeling that she always has your best interests at heart.
