I didn't like the fact that after my session, her secretary informed me that in order for the doctor to send my surgeon a letter saying I was ok for the surgery, there would be a $250 additional fee thatI had to pay upfront. I walked out and went to my PCP, signed a medical release for Dr Kammiel to fax over her notes and used that instead. Lucky for me, in her notes she wrote that I was clear for surgery. Dr Patel excepted her notes instead of a letter. I even files a formal complaint against her with my insurance company. I think to charge $250 for a letter is outrageous!!!!
