Dr. Piniella had an incredible sensitivity to the person seeking gastric bypass surgery. He is also experienced in writing letters for the insurance company. I was able to get an appointment within one week of calling and the evaluation was ready within 24 hours! He does not take insurance but the self-pay fee was very reasonable...only $150. I was very pleased.

I have to add that I was disappointed with the office staff. Because the office was over an hour away I asked that my evaluation be sent via US mail. It has been 18 days and no mailed copy. I did get them to fax me a copy but she was not happy that I asked.
