Dr. Malik has been my pyschiatrist long before I started looking into obesity surgery. He is very professional and extremely thorough. He is kind of quiet and he listens intently to you. He is honest and cares about the quality of care that you receive from him. He will give an honest accessment of your readiness or lack of readiness to proceed with this surgery because he truly cares about your psychological well being. He was supportive of my decision to have surgery from the beginning, once he determined that I was doing this for the right reasons...and continues to support and show interest in my progress.
