I would have probably rated this as Excellent if the shake was not blue. Blue and Red dyes in drinks like these tend to promote gas. The taste is also a bit tart. It can be mixed easily with a Crystal Light in another fruity flavor to tone it down a bit.
This stuff saved me post-op!! I was limited to Splenda for a sweetener and I have several favorites. Try to the samples first so you know you are set with the larger sizes!

I have tried so many different kinds of protein that I was not happy with. Whey is the best generally in taste and protein content per scoop, however, when Syntrax developed the Nectar whey protein, they made it even tastier and more healthy (23g per scoop)! I have tried various flavors-- some I am not too keen on, some are ok, but Crystal Sky is the best one. It is so tasty that I actually look forward to having my protein drink (I mix it with water) every morning! Yeah, $35 may be a little pricey, but it's worth it if you know you can drink it with a smile on your face.

After having a positive experience with the Nectar Sweets Strawberry Mousse, I ordered some other flavors in this product line. The others mix with water instead of milk and tasted a lot like fruit juice to me. Crystal Sky (fruit punch flavor) was my favorite by far. I really liked the strawberry-kiwi and fuzzy navel. I wasn't too fond of the caribbean cooler (tasted like pina colada). However, I did find that all products in this line are easy to mix (shake) and have no chalky or gritty taste. I love them!

Very good tasting whey protein! Crystal Sky tastes like a tropical fruit drink. Syntrax is the best tasting protein on the market for post op'ers.

BLAH! As soon as I opened the large container, the smell turned me off. I mixed some up, and honestly tried to drink as much of it as possible. But that wasn't much at all - I couldn't stand the strong whey taste.
