Edith Calamia is an excellent PCP. She is young, energetic, compassionate and very friendly. I have been going to her for about 3 years now. She was also considering WLS at one time, but she decided against it. I must warn you that she doesn't have much experience with WLS, but is willing to listen and offer support for those who truly need the surgery. Also, she won't reccomend you for WLS if you're just barely morbidly obese. I was 300 pounds and 5'3 and she was hesitant...which I was a little dissapointed about. For a family doc she's great. For someone looking for a doc's refferal for WLS...she's not so great.
