I recently had a major reconstructive surgery performed by Dr. LoMonaco and let me just say I have no regrets! From the process of scheduling my consultation, to having my operation, and even now during my recovery period, Dr. LoMonaco and his staff have been nothing short of helpful, professional, and very accommodating. The daily phone calls from his nurses and access to an on call nurse after my surgery gave me comfort and security during the weeks after my surgery. Matter of fact, even though I live out of state I felt as though I was just a short drive away from his office. Dr. LoMonaco and his staff were very competent and knew just what to do when minor complications appeared. Dr. LoMonaco is the perfect plastic surgeon if you're looking for someone that is skilled, listens to your concerns/needs, and doesn't try to "sell" you a procedure. The same can be said about his amazing staff as well.

Dr. Lomonaco, Destiny and Chela are such a great team! They are compassionate, informative and make you feel at ease during your appointments. I had a breast lift, 360 lower body lift, arm lift and thigh lift in the past few months and I could not be more grateful and happy with the results. The team let me know what to do if I were to ever have an issue. They are great listeners for all my questions. I saw Dr. Lomonaco for a tummy tuck back in 2009 and loved my results, surgery was great and recovery was fast, the staff at the office is great. I just recently saw him again in July 2016 for liposuction and breast lift w/ implants, the procedure was smooth. From the nurses, to the anesthesiologist at St. John's Hospital to Dr. Lomonaco and his staff I had a great experience the day of surgery and after surgery as well. Recovery was fast and smooth, once again I was completely satisfied with the results. After surgery Destiny or Chela would call me each day to check up on me, these girls are great.. I just started seeing Vicky for laser hair removal and I'm loving the results and after debating to make my lips fuller I finally caved in and I did lip augmentation with Vicky best decision I took I am loving the results, my lips are fuller and have that natural look. Go see Vicky she is awesome. I am also doing Belladerm scar therapy with Vicky and my scars look amazing, I will never go with any other doctor. Overall Dr. Lomonaco and his staff is awesome, I have recommended him to many of my friends who have already started seeing both Vicky and the Dr. Thanks for all you do !!

Dr. Lomonaco is the only surgeon (of 3 that I interviewed) that listened. He did what I wanted ... not what HE wanted or what other people said. He managed my anxiety, he answered ALL my questions, his staff was thoughtful and disarming. My pain levels were totally managed - even less than he's said they would be. My recovery was a snap. I would highly recommend him. he is the bomb!

My daughter went for right breast reconstruction to repair a deformity. Dr. Lomonaco was kind, gentle, and brutally honest with us both about all the risks up front. The results are amazing and my child's self esteem has flourished. He has transformed her life for the better and I am forever grateful!

Dr. LoMonaco has been a great doctor to work with in regard to cosmetic surgery after bariatric surgery. He is very kind and thorough in explaining procedures. I have had a breast reduction and lift and am looking forward to a lower body lift. My husband thinks Dr. L did an amazing job and so do I!

I really can’t say enough wonderful things about my year-long experience with Dr. LoMonaco and his staff! After losing 120 pounds through diet and exercise and waiting an additional year before contemplating excess skin removal surgery, I knew I wanted to find one of the most qualified plastic surgeons available to work on my full body makeover. I did my research and found many bariatric plastic surgeons all over the country, but the one thing that stood out the most about Dr. LoMonaco was all of his incredible, heartfelt reviews from former patients and the fact that none of them were negative… I knew then and there I needed to fly down to Houston to meet him in person for a consultation. It was obvious from the very beginning that Dr. LoMonaco truly cares for his patients and has extensive experience working with those who have lost massive amounts of weight. This kind of weight loss is life changing, both physically and emotionally, and Dr. LoMonaco really understands that. He talked with my mom and I for a couple of hours throughout the entire, lengthy consultation answering every one of the many questions we had and ultimately made sure I was completely comfortable with the idea of moving forward. One moment that really stood out for me during the consultation was when Dr. LoMonaco walked me through my “before” photos on the computer, which were taken that day, to explain how he would perform the surgery, what the scars would look like, and to ultimately provide realistic expectations of the outcome, which was incredibly helpful and informative! You can tell he treats each body as a work of art and strives to provide the best possible results for his patients. He also gave me a copy of his book, “Bariatric Plastic Surgery: A Guide to Cosmetic Surgery After Weight Loss,” to read to further understand the many procedures I was scheduled to undergo. I would highly recommend reading this book to anyone interested in undergoing bariatric plastic surgery as it was very thorough and informative!
When the time came for my two different surgical procedures, which occurred several months apart, both Dr. LoMonaco and his surgical nurse and right-hand woman, Destiny, made sure I felt very well cared for and completely comfortable throughout the entire experience. They both checked in throughout my hospital stay to make sure my pain was well managed and to ensure I was up and walking around. My first surgery included a lower body lift and breast lift with augmentation and my second surgery included an arm lift and inner thigh lift. Dr. LoMonaco also set himself apart from other plastic surgeons I researched by requiring his patients to stay in the hospital for one to two nights following these types of procedures and he also utilizes an additional pain pump that is inserted into your abdomen for the lower body lift. Believe me, you are going to want to stay in a hospital and the extra pain pump was a huge help during recovery!
Once I returned home after surgery, his fabulous nurses, Chela and Destiny, called at least once a day to check in on my post-surgical condition and provided instructions for my mom for at-home care. They also gave us an on-call cell phone number to both call and text at any time to ask questions, send pictures, and receive additional support. Whenever we were unsure about anything, such as the condition of my incisions, the fit of my compression garments, or even the application of the Embrace scar therapy strips, his nurses, Chela, Vicki, and Destiny, were all happy to have my mom and I come into the office without an appointment to make sure everything was being taken care of properly, which was a huge relief! Recovering from these surgeries wasn’t easy and takes a long time, so it was wonderful to have such a great support system, which included everyone on Dr. LoMonaco’s staff.
I recently traveled back to Houston to have my one-year check up to assess any concerns I had with my body post-surgery and to take my “after” photos and felt welcomed back with open arms. Dr. LoMonaco and Destiny went out of their way to accommodate my travel schedule for my small scar revision procedure, which was provided free of charge in his office as a part of the many special services they offer that seem to go above and beyond the norm. Seeing my “before and after” photos together was amazing as well and I am beyond thrilled with my results!
Dr. LoMonaco and his staff truly do operate as a fully competent, highly professional team and you can tell each staff member communicates effectively with one another so that everyone is in the loop at all times. All of his staff members knew both my mom and me very well by the end of our journey and really treated us like we were a part of the family, which was wonderful! For me, this reconstructive surgery was one of the final puzzle pieces needed to complete my major weight loss journey and ultimately has been a huge factor in helping to restore my self-confidence! I can’t imagine having chosen any other surgeon than Dr. LoMonaco as my experience was exceptional and I am so thrilled with the outcome! The absolute best thing has been my results. They have been beyond my expectations. I went to Dr. LoMonaco primarily based on his portfolio. His work is exceptional. . Every aspect of my experience was perfect. Dr. LoMonaco and his staff are incredibly nice and helpful. They put me at ease through every step and I felt like they were all very knowledgeable. Losing weight has been pretty long and hard journey but after the weight loss you have to deal with sagging skin, droopy boobs. The journey doesn't end at losing the massive amount of weight but you also have to find the right Doctor to reconstruct your body the way it's suppose to be. I was determined to find the right Doctor for me. I needed someone carrying and understanding. Upon meeting with several top doctors I picked Doctor Lomonaco because he is not only your surgeon but also your friend. He will only advise you on the things he thinks are best for you so that you can have the best outcome for your body type. He is very honest and kind. He listened to everything I wanted and not once did I feel rushed or uncomfortable. Not only is he amazing but his staff is talented and loving as well. If you pick Doctor Lomonaco you are also picking a team of excellent staff members always ready with answers to all your questions. They are very attentive, punctual, & loving. I feel like I have gained a whole team of family members.

I had complications with my left boob and it had to be removed but Destiny managed to pull some strings and got me a free implant!! She's a life saver!! During your operation Destiny will be there to talk to you before your surgery to put you at ease. Then after surgery her and doc will come check up on you. Her quick witted personality will make you feel safe you have someone alert and attentive working on your side.

Chela & Destiny will always call and check up on you before and after your surgery to make sure you have all the information you need. Chela will be one of the girls you will follow up with in the office. She listens to all your concerns and answers anything that's on your mind. Don't feel worried or scared to ask her anything. She is very sweet and charming. She's like the sister I have always wanted but never had.

You'll meet Vicky as soon as you walk in the front doors of Doctor Lomonacos office! She's always greeting you with the biggest and warmest smile! Either her or Chela will prep you before you meet doc. Not only is Vicky sweet she is also and perfectionest!! Who doesn't love that??!

When I look in the mirror I don't recognize the girl looking back at me. I'm so happy I found a caring Doctor that did an amazing job on my body and a staff of brilliant women who work for him. I have so much that I have gained from these people! I got a beautiful body and a group of people who genuinely care about me and what I want!

Dr. LoMonaco and his staff are seriously amazing! From pre op, during surgery and post op they have taken great care of me! Dr. L is very particular and strives for perfection. The ladies in his office are incredible... And checked on me daily for a week after my surgery. I couldn't be happier with my results, and would recommend this office to anybody wanting plastic surgery! They're the best!
