Dr. LoMonaco is very comforting & takes his time to explain the procedures. He did not rush through the consultation. He is the 2nd Plastic Surgeon I've seen during the starting phase of plastics. He way surpassed the surgeon I saw here in my area.

Dr LaMonaco was awesome.He explained what he could and couldn't do,what to expect,the need for revisions.I would do it over and over again.My surgery was great,and I feel great,and I feel like I look great,and I owe that all to Dr LaMonaco.You are THE MAN

Dr. LoMonaco is great. He spent a lot of time with me during the consult and I feel really comfortable with him.

This doctor says he can't do effective liposuction, and can only do excess skin removal. He is nice through email, but when you go to his office its something else. Buyer Beware.

WOW! I can not say enough about him! He has the absolute BEST bedside manner of any doctor I have ever been to (and I've been to A LOT). He is also a true sculptor in every sense of the word. I had a lower body lift and I look good enough to wear a bikini after a 160 pound weight loss. My stomach is completely flat and I have no fat left on my hips, etc... I can not reccommend him enough. His expertise and professionalism are both extraordinary and are unsurpassed by any other surgeon I visited ( I saw six plastic surgeons prior to my surgery). Even the nurses who changed my bandages at St. Lukes stated that my surgery looked better than any they had seen before and that included six others on the floor who had undergone the same procedures. I could not be happier and I must add that I look GREAT!!! I have also had the entire rest of my body done and I must say it looks awesome. My scars are minimal and the best part about Dr. Lomonaco is that he is a perfectionist. That is the best quality to find in a plastic surgeon! He is awesome and I look awesome!

So far my experience has been fantastic. I consulted with Dr. LoMonaco in March of 2005 to address the issues of excess skin left by a 200+ weight loss over the last 10 years. He was very upfront about what he could and could not do for me. He was very specific about the special considerations needed to correct problems associated with weight loss vs correcting the problems of a person with minimal/shorter term weight loss. I was very impressed that he takes a different approach to reconstuct a weight loss patients body to give the best possible result. This was important to me. I worked in the medical center as a nurse for several years. Plastic surgeons wern't seen too often in my department. But one gave me some advice on a slow night several years ago. He said that they all are trained to do a nose job or a breast implant but some do better at one than the other. Find someone who is good in the particular area that you want worked on.
I needed to find someone with weight loss body reconstruction knowledge. I probably would have used that particular plastics guy but he said it himself a long time ago. He's a boob man.
I had an extended tummy tuck with muscle repairs, outter thigh and buttock lift on Aug. 1, 2005. I must say that Dr. LoMonaco exceeded my expectations. My results are fantastic and they keep getting better as each week passes. Not to mention that his front and back office people are very nice and very good at what they do. They have never failed to answer any question or concern that I've had.
The care I have recieved has been exceptional. A good example of this was when I called from the hospital the day after surgery with some concerns about my dressings. Even though the issues were pretty minor, within an hour he was in my room with his assistant Patsy to inspect and my dressings and incisions. Domino's doesn't even make it to my house that fast.
I am planning for the second surgery in December of an arm and breast lift with implants maybe an inner thigh lift as well. I have no reservations about going back for round 2 of surgery. I know what I can expect from my doctor and his staff which is their absolute best.

DR LoMonaco is more than just a surgeon, he is a caring person, an artist in body work ... his staff is competent & specializes in making you feel at ease... I feel I could have not found a better more caring physician... I would recommend him to any & everyone... a more qualified and competent surgeon could not be found, he is the BEST !!! He far exceeded my expectations ... he deserves respect & admiration for the both the work & caring atmosphere his practice generates...

Loved Dr. L! His assistant Jill was awesome too! I felt like he really cared about me as a person, and I felt truely lucky to be using his services! He did thigh lift, arms lift, tummy tuck, and implants all in the same day! 8 hour surgery. He rocks! and he did a great job!

I began my plastics journey quite early, I was only 6 months Post-op. I had emailed Dr. LoMonaco's site and got a personal email back from him stating that it was good for me to make a consult now. Shortly after that I received a call from one of his patient coordinators with Dr. LoMonaco in the background saying "Get her in here for a consult" lol. I have nothing but praise and compliments and good things to say about this surgeon and his staff, as well as the hospital he does his surgery in. When I went to his consult, First of all it was no charge, Secondly, I had his attention and he kept my attention for almost 2 hours. He is very informative and is great with people that has lost weight like us WLS peeps. I finally had my plastics with im a year after my consult date (Full body lift- Tummy tuck, butt lift, outer thigh lift, and lip, as well as Breast lift with silicone implants) , which was 3 weeks ago on March 18th. The staff at Twelve Oaks Hospital are great as well. When I called for my pain meds they were there within 5 minutes. If it was too soon, they would be back as soon as it wasn't to give the medication. They were awesome and very kind, even the food people. My experience with Dr. LoMonaco was wonderful, and I highly reccomend him to anyone that is willing to travel or in the Houston area. I can't say enough about Dr. L. He's definitely a body artist. I can't be more happier with the results at 3 weeks. Thanks Dr. L and staff :)

WONDERFUL!!! I really liked him and he is very confident in getting the procedures done that I need done by my insurance. Even if the insurance doesn't do much or anything, I will do my best to take care of it myself finacially. It make take awhile, but with Dr. LoMonaco doing it, it will be worth it! He is all about making me normal and really cares about my concerns. I really feel like I will be in great hands with him doing my surgery. I am excited for that day to come, I just hope it won't take as long as it did for my gastric bypass. I DO recommend him to anyone wanting to have the surgeries he offers. He knows his business, give him a try.
