Dr. Federo was the nicest most invested dr. I have ever worked with. He went above and beyond with his time and dedication. I had two previous consultations and he was the only one that made me feel comfortable and optomistic about the results.
I had a lower body lift, iin addition to liposuction, which was major surgery, almost 7 hours in the operating room. My surgery was December 22, 2011 and dr. Federo was, and continues to be available 24 hours a day, including Christmas.
After almost 7 weeks I could not be happier with the results. Dr. Federo understands patients who have had bariatric surgery and has made it a major part of his practice. He takes pride in his work and enjoys seeing how it changes lives. I highly recommend him as a surgeon and as a person.

I had my LBL in Nov 2011 and am so extremely pleased with the results. Dr Fodero is highly skilled in patients with massive weight loss. I had a minor complication one Thanksgiving and needed to call him, he was so compassionate and understanding. His staff is great, and Dee was so good with dealing with the insurance cimpany.

i would recommend Dr, Fodero and his practice. I would also return to him for other procedures. if you want someone who is dialed into the obese and massive weight loss community and who is going to treat you with respect and dignity then this is the surgeon you want.

I had my LBL on 12/30/2010 and Dr. Fodero was great, I had a few hiccups and he had to come see me at the hospital on New Years Eve and New Years Day so I felt bad since that was not the plan.. I can not say enough good things about him and his office, I can truly say that his office is top notch ~ Dee is the best!! Also I had an issue while he was on vacation and he called me from his vacation from his cell after his plane landed, I didn't expect that from him since the issue had been handled by his back up and my PCP but he just wanted to check on things. He is great !

PS. He/ Dee (they) were very helpful and were able to get insurance approval for a large portion of my surgery... plus got my Short Term Disability approved too.

Dr. Fodero is a skilled, compassionate surgeon. Should I need further surgery I will return to Dr. Fodero. I have referred numerous other patients to him as well. I am an RN with experience in Bariatric nursing. Dr. Fodero was especially understanding and supportive of this special population. He communicated well with my family and answered all questions. He was non-judgemental and very skilled. A nurse I know assisted him in my surgery and was very impressed with him and his technique. I will return to Dr. Fodero and will continue to refer patients to his practice.

I had Gastric Bypass over four years ago and was successful in my weight loss, but unhappy with my excess skin. Our support Group had brought in a few plastic surgeons but the Night that Dr. Fodero came I knew he was the one for the job.

He seemed to be very knowledgeable about people who had weight loss surgery and how to deal with their excess skin. He was very open with what could be done and answered any question that we had. He seemed to really care about us and our concerns.

His office & Nursing staff are great. They made my visits to the office pleasant and were always very helpful.

I've had several procedures with Dr. Fodero and he is awesome. He is a very caring person and will always be there for his patients. I had to have an unexpected surgery (complication from the bypass) a few days after my other procedure. Even though I wasn't there due to his Surgery... Dr. Fodero still came to check on me and make sure things were going fine.

I would recommend Dr. Fodero to anyone that needed some type of plastic surgery! He is a very skilled surgeon and a truly good person.

I interviewed several surgeons before visiting Dr. Fodero and I knew within minitues of meeting him that my search was over. Dr. Fodero and his staff are professional, friendly and treated me like family. Most importantly, he is experienced. He's done tons of procedures on post bariatric patients. That's me. He is honest about what can be done and he's got the before and after pictures to back it up. I could not have been happier with my experience with Dr. Fodero. The results are way beyond my expectations. He and his staff fully explained the entire process, helped me every step of the way and I had no surprises. I lost 150 pounds after bypass surgery but I still did not feel comfortable because of the excess skin. To me, the body lift from Dr. Fodero provided as much satisfaction as losing the 150 pounds. Now I feel comfortable tucking my shirt in at work and taking it off at the beach. There's no way to quantify that. Thank you Dr. Fodero!

Dr. Fodero and his entire staff are very keyed to the special needs of weight loss patients and create an environment of complete comfort. He was the most conservative of the three consults I had - opting to not combine procedures that other surgeons were willing to group and after having been through a LBL I cannot agree more that his approach was the most sound. Followup was outstanding and I never worried about not being able to reach help if I needed it. I have a spectacular result and am now moving forward with my next procedure.

Dr. Fodero and his wonderful Staff couldn't be more competant and professional. After having my gastric bypass surgery in December 2004, I lost 100 lbs from my 5'2" frame which made an incredible difference that I thought would transform my life. And it did - to an extent....the redundant skin that I was left with was unsightly. Although I looked "great in clothes", I couldn't bear to see myself without. I never intended to have plastic surgery, but didn't feel as though my transformation was complete because I still felt "fat" and saggy. I had attended a support group meeting 2 weeks after my bypass surgery and Dr. Fodero was the guest speaker. I listened, but didn't think I'd ever require his services. I did however, keep the hand-outs. In December 2006 I started to seriously consider surgery and went on several consultations, but no one I met with made me feel very comfortable. I then remembered the hand-outs I had received 2 years prior. I made an appointment to see Dr. Fodero and only wish I hadn't waited so long. He is truly concerned about his patients and completely honest and realistic with the anticipated results. I had a lower body lift and breast lift with augmentation and I look AMAZING! I've never felt or looked better in my entire life and I have Dr. Fodero to thank for it. As a matter of fact, I was so impressed with the care that I received that I have returned to school seeking my degree in Nursing. I can't thank Dr. Fodero enough for his care, concern and expertise!

As a former gastric bypass patient who successfully lost almost 150lbs my physical transformation would not have been nearly as dramatic without the assistance of Dr. Fodero. Once the weight was gone the amount of excessive skin which remained was intolerable and unsightly. The only course of action to take was to safely resect it. After interviewing several local surgeons in the area my gynegologist reccommended Dr. Fodero. After my initial consultaion I immediately knew I had the right person for the job. Dr. Fodero customized a plan which was tailor made for my individual body type. His surgeries are not "cookie cutter" operations and are case specific producing maximum benefits to each patient. His expectations are realistic. He is extremely talented and his goals are clearly stated before any surgery is performed. Safety is one of his top priorities. Weight loss patients can require more than one surgery in order to successfully remove excess skin. Dr. Fodero was upfront about this possibility and in my case suggested staging my surgeries to produce the best possible result. Most patients are anxious to have the quickest fix possible. We all want to see immediate effects. I do not have one regret with the plan to have my 5 surgeries staged in the manner which I did. My trust in Dr. Fodero has grown with each surgery and I truly believe that he is the best surgeon in his field. I never imagined that my body could look as good, and as normal, as it does now. I have the highest level of respect and trust for Dr. Fodero and have literally placed my life in his hand 5 times. I would do it all over tomorrow if I had to.
