With weightloss surgery I lost so much weight and was left with a lot of extra skin on my stomach and arms that I was not prepared for. For years I would only wear loose fitted shirts to hide all this extra skin I had. I was referred to Dr. DiNick by a co-worker who also had surgery with him. She was so pleased with her results and time and time again talked about how he was the best around and I should just schedule a consultation with him. With her mentorship I was finally ready to move forward with changing the look of my body. Dr. DiNick performed a tummy tuck and reconstructed my arms in the same day. My co-worker was right, he is an amazing surgeon! I could not be more pleased with the results and the treatment received by this busy surgeon. His bedside manner was wonderful and even spent so much time making me feel comfortable and was very informative on each procedure prior to surgery. I couldn’t be any happier with the results of my surgery or choice of surgeon. I feel alive and happy again thanks to this surgeon’s talented work!!

I was pleased with my tummy tuck procedure so I decided to have a breast reduction. I scheduled my procedure and was told that my insurance would not pay for the entire procedure. I imagined that I would have some expenses from my insurance. I called my insurance company only to find out that I was covered 100 percent, I was told that it is not legal to balance bill a patient for a surgery that is covered if my insurance participates with the doctor. His office still insisted that my insurance would not cover a part of my surgery, so I cancelled my surgery with him, and went to another plastic surgeon where it was covered in full. Please be aware of your insurance coverage, this can make a huge difference in your decision.

Terrible experience at first. It took multiple calls to schedule the consultation, as they never pick up the phone and I always had to leave a voicemail. They do not return calls. Finally scheduled a consultation. Consultation day went well enough and a preauthorization process was initiated. Now it is a couple months later and I have not heard anything back. I was told at the appointment that I would get a status update every week or 2. I have had no contact from the office. I have left messages, and none of the calls have been returned. Ridiculous. Stay away from this practice. Eventually I cancelled my original surgery date, because I just wasn't confident that they would provide support should something not go well. I changed my mind, and contacted them. This time the person scheduling surgical dates was supurb. She returned calls promptly, ensured that all questions were answered, and in general was highly professional. This changed my mind and I proceeded with the surgery. Dr. Dinick did an excellent job and was very meticulous about the process. The stay at the facility turned out to be my most pleasant hospital stay out of all of my major surgeries. Recovery has gone exceedingly well. I am not certain if they fired the one person that was so inept when I initially was trying to work with this practice, but once the office staff situation was resolved everything went beautifully. Dr. Dinick did an excellent job of getting the insurance to pay for the pannis removal too, and the cost to finish the tummy tuck seemed reasonable. I would without hesitation recommend him.

I had surgery with Dr Vincent Dinick. I am unhappy with my result......He will not stand by his work. He will let his personal life interfere with his medical decisions. I was pleased with my result in the first stages of my healing process, but shortly after, I became concerned. His medical assistant who is actually his girlfriend could not answer any of my questions after my surgery. He is cocky and arrogant. I will have to pay a different plastic surgeon to fix his mess, what a mistake I made choosing him!!!!!
This man was egotistical. He became offended when I asked questions related to his qualifications. His assistant just laughed in my face and said "do you know who you are talking to". As if I should be bowing while speaking to him or something. I felt like the fat girl being mocked by classmates all over again in his presence. I would not recommend him to anyone.

It has been some time since my surgery with Dr. DiNick. I had a tummy tuck, breast implants, and liposuction of my saddle bags. The tummy tuck went well and the implants are just o.k. Not great, but I can live with that. The problem is the disfiguring liposuction. I knew going in that lipo could cause a bumpy outcome. I understood that. The problem is that he took out too much tissue (another Dr. told me this) on my left hip. It is sunken in and is obvious in clothes. He also did some lipo on my inner right thigh and that is sunk in too. Awful and I hate looking at myself. As if I didn't look bad enough. I did have fat transfers with him. THAT I PAID FOR. And it still didn't work. He never took responsibility for what he did. His assistant, Robbie (i think) was supposed to call me when his new office in Novi was up and running. NEVER HEARD FROM THEM. I wish everyday that I never had that liposuction. I know it's my fault for doing it, but he should have tried harder to fix WHAT HE DID. TAKING OUT TOO MUCH TISSUE IS HIS FAULT. He obviously does not know a thing about lipo and if anyone is considering having him do it, GO TO SOMEONE ELSE. And yes, I exercise 5 days a week. I now know better, but it's too late.

I don't think words can truly express my experience that I had with Dr. DiNick. I chose him as my plastic surgeon because his specialty is post-op gastric bypass patients and I figured he knew what he was doing. WRONG!!! The short version of a very long unfinished story is that my simple 3-4 breast aug with him turned into an 10 hour marathon surgery, which ultimately failed and had to be redone by a different plastic surgeon. My tummy tuck has also been a nightmare. For over a year now I have been walking around with an extremely distended abdomen. When I initially saw Dr. DiNick for follow-up regarding this issue his response was, "wow, I don't know what's wrong with you, maybe you have ascites...you ruined my work." I could go on and on about the many things wrong with his statement, but I will just caution those who plan to use Dr. DiNick as a plastic surgeon. Just don't.
Do your research!! This is not the only plastic surgeon in the state of MI, but if you are dead set on using him, make sure you demand that he draws a blood level BEFORE your surgery and also AFTER your surgery(s). If you are severly anemic going into a surgery, you will be even more anemic coming out. As a gastric bypass patient, "doubling up" on your iron pills a week before surgery isn't going to do you any good. Demand an infusion. Ladies, if you are a gym rat like I was, make sure you ask about textured implants with a mesh anchor versus the smooth implants Dr. DiNick uses. It may save you a failed breast aug if you use the proper implants from the start.

Wonderful! Would absolutely recommend Dr. DiNick to anyone and everyone. He was spectacular to work with, his staff is great and the whole experience was more than I could have possibly hoped for. I was amazed at how quickly I healed and felt better... he did an awesome job!
