April 2009:I can't believe I finally did it and Dr. McNemar is the best. I am 3.5 weeks post-op- panniculectomy, tummy tuck, breast lift and augmentation done all in one day by Dr. McNemar!!! It hasn't been easy but have no regrets. I saw Dr. McNemar mid-Feb 2009 for a consultation and I felt comfortable with all the things we discussed and had surgery mid- April 2009. It hasn't been easy and I have a lot of recovering/ healing to go. I have nothing but great things to say about him. He warned me that the first three days were going to be tough and it was!!!! but he was honest about it and has been since consultation. I recommend him!!!! His staff is great especially Tiffany!!!!

Dr. McNemar did my paneculectomy in October 2008. I had gastric bypass surgery in 2002 and had been carrying a sagging tummy for a while. I was skeptical about going through another surgery but after meeting with Dr. McNemar, I felt confident that this procedure was the right choice. He made me feel at ease. He also did an EXCELLENT job on the incision and keeping my umbilicus in a normal position.

Dr. McNemar says the truth he tells it like it is. I found him to be a very honest. He made me feel confindent that I was making the right choice concerning my face lift. I am two weeks post op and I think I look terrific. Dr. McNemar told me what to expect through out the entire procedure. His smile and warm personality makes him just the right kind of plastic surgeon. I am having more surgery's done and Doctor McNemar will unquestionably be my surgeon.

Dr. McNemar was awesome!!! I went and saw him for my one week post op visit today. He had one word to describe the bidirectional thigh lift "annoying". I kept asking him annoying how. Painful or uncomfortable? He just kept saying annonying. Well, yes it was annoying, but not in the way I think Dr. McNemar thought it would be annoying to me. I found the catheter he sent me home with annoying because it made me somewhat immobile and since I do not like being immobile that was extremely annoying. But besides that, it wasn't as annoying as he made it out to be and my recovery has been awesome. My legs look better than they every have. My tummy looks great. I look down and all the excess skin is gone. I remember telling Dr. McNemar that he was removing my best friend since I had been carrying my sagging skin around for so long. This was a wonderful experience so far for me. He said this was the worst out of the 5 procedures I am going to have so the rest will be a piece of cake for me. And his wonderful smile makes you get through it all. He has a great bedside manner, and thoroughly goes over everything he will be doing. He gives you his opinion, but lets you decide what will work best for you. I settled with everything he suggested because ultimately he is the expert. And let me tell you so far I am extremely pleased. He is easy to talk to, and I suggest that everyone reads his new book "Bariatric Plastic Surgery" A Guide to Cosemetic Surgery after Weight Loss". It gives a lot of information on Plastic surgery needed after your bariatric surgery. It is a very informative book. Tells you step by step what you should expect. Another thing that made me feel great about Dr. McNemar is that he was well educated on my bariatric surgery which was the Duodenal Switch. That made me feel very confident about looking no further for a plastic surgeon as soon as we discussed that. I felt that I was going to be well taken care of when we discussed my bariatric surgery, and he seemed well informed about it. It made me feel relieved and comfortable. I was nervous when I walked into his office for the first time, but as soon as he walked into my room, he put me at ease right away. All I can say is: ***** 5 Star plus rating for him!!!!!! Loved him!!!!! I refer everyone that I know who wants any type of work done on themselves to him........ :)

Excellent surgeon and staff! Dr. just came out with a book Bariatric Plastic Surgery...I saw it on Amazon!

I went to several plastic surgeons in the bay area, he spent the time listening to me and was very knowledgeable. He has written a book just for us about post bariatric plastic surgery!! He said it will be out this month (AUG). I would call his office and get a copy.

I saw several plastic surgeons Dr. McNemar seemed to have the best knowledge about Bariatirc Plastic Surgery. I had surgery months ago and I am feeling and looking great. Thanks to Dr. McNemar

After having a consultation with 3 other surgeons, I found Dr. McNemar and his staff to make me feel the most comfortable. Dr. McNemar was very attentive and seemed genuinely caring, as well as concerned about my needs. I never felt rushed and I am always given lots of time with him when I come into the office, not to mention I love my results!!! I highly recommend him to anybody looking for a plastic surgeon.

Dr. McNemar is amazing. His bedside manner is wonderful. He spent so much time making me feel comfortable and was very informative on each procedure. I couldnt be any happier with the results of my surgery or choice of surgeon! I feel alive and happy again!! I highly recommend Dr McNemar!

very nice man, compassionate and caring and has done surgery on many patients that have had gastric bi-pass surgery. This doctor is very nice and spends lots of time with you and will answer any questions you have. He also took my insurance which is a rarity for doctors in this field.
