Dr. LoMonaco is extremely sincere and helpful. He spent 1.5 hours with me during my consult and made sure all of my questions were answered. Sally and Stacy are great; Sally called to check on me twice after surgery and Stacy was so helpful during my postop visits. AMAZING experience!

41 years old and after 2 kids and the weight gains and losses that accompany pregnancy, my chest was a 36DD and sagging so far down that a proper support bra was so uncomfortable and causing a great deal of pain! I finally decided, it was time to do something for me! I researched plastic surgeons in the Houston area and I only wanted to see the BEST! I have never had surgery before and wanted to be reassured that I would have the best care possible. I found Dr. Lomonaco and chose him based on hundreds of positive reviews I read and the fact that he was extremely personable, took as much time as I needed to answer questions, and I felt tremendously confident with his knowledge and experience! The morning of the surgery I saw him in pre-op, he asked me if I had any questions, he drew on me, and the anesthesiologist gave me something to "relax" before the OR, well I don't remember anything until recovery! They gave me pain meds in recovery until I was comfortable to leave. Slept the rest of the day and most of the next and honestly I had very little pain until day 4 post op when I developed an accumulation of fluid that needed to be drained and started having some pain and just feeling sick. I emailed the doctor about it Wednesday night before Thanksgiving and he emailed me back in the middle of the night and again on Thanksgiving. I made an appointment to see him the following Tuesday. At that appointment, he drained out a considerable amount of fluid and the nurse removed some glue. After the glue was removed, I could see how wonderful they looked! I wasn't expecting the breast to be so full with only a lift, and a reduction (with no implants) since other pictures of breast lifts I had seen did not have as much upper pole fullness, but mine are so full that the nurse in his office thought I had implants! Dr. Lomonaco did an amazing job! I hope to go back in the summer for a tummy tuck! I highly recommend him. His entire staff is very kind and considerate and they called me every day after surgery (even though I was mostly sleeping when they called!)

Dr. LoMonaco is not your average plastic surgeon. He is caring and a very competent surgeon who will provide his opinion with the upmost respect for you as a patient. He is very detail oriented and would sit with you to explain every process in detail and answer all your questions and concerns. Beyond his experience as a top notch surgeon, he is a class act who is truly interested in the best outcome for you. He will not give you empty promises or say yes to you just to agree with you.

My first encounter with Dr. LoMonaco was by chance when I had called his office back in November to schedule a free breast augmentation appointment. By this time, I had already narrowed down to three top surgeons in Houston. Dr. LoMonaco was booked solid through late January for any new patients. I took a chance and got online to find his e-mail contact via RealSelf to let him know of my disappointment because I could not schedule the consultation with him sooner. He immediately replied back and tell me to come see him at 5-5:30pm that same day! I was utterly surprise to see he actually answered his e-mail the same day nonetheless to tell me to come in after business hours.

When my husband and I arrived at his office, his assistants were extremely polite and nice even though their office was already closed for the day. We met Dr. LoMonaco expecting a quick 15-20 minutes consultation because of the late hour and from our experience visits with other PS. Our conversation started off with personal subject non-related to why we were there. That in itself took 15-20 minutes of his time. I am not sure if it was his way of easing us into the real subject matter or not, but his "little" conversations upon meeting him made us feel comfortable. We were ready to commit to his service and care before he even started discussing anything related to breast augmentation. Dr. LoMonaco was extremely thorough in his consultation. Never was a moment during our consultation that he tried to sell himself to gain our business! He confirmed all that we've been researching in regard to the procedure and much more. Our whole initial consultation with Dr. LoMonaco took over one and a half hour of his time!

Without hesitation and second guessing, we selected Dr. LoMonaco for the breast augmentation procedure. He and his staff work a tight surgery schedule but was able to schedule the surgery within weeks of our decision. Days and weeks before and after surgery, Dr. LoMonaco would continue exchanging e-mails with me ensuring all my concerns were answered.

The breast augmentation result speaks for itself on how a dedicated plastic surgeon Dr. LoMonaco is. Although due to my physique (small frame; under 100 lbs), Dr. LoMonaco was able to give me the best pair of new breasts that is possible. I went from an A-cup to a full C-cup and currently contemplating on a bigger size once the skin has time to recuperate from being stretched. Though it is not the size I was "wishing" for, I understand and agreed with Dr. LoMonaco on the complication of over stretching the skin around my breasts if we had gone with the size I initially had wanted. I rather be safe and repeat the procedure a year from now than forcing my body with too big implants and getting results that I might regret.

His staff Stacy, Sally, Destiny and Michelle are such sweeties! They are a very competent group of medical staff that will make you feel important. They would take turn to call me every day after surgery to ensure I was ok. We find no negative feedback from his patients and now we know exactly why. We highly recommend Dr. LoMonaco and his staff!

I chose Dr. LoMonaco because he is simply THE BEST! There are not enough words to describe his skill, care, talent, and bedside manner. I am 7 years post-Gastric bypass, and had the 1st phase of excess skin removal in July of 2013. This included a lower body lift, breast lift, and breast augmentation. The results were immediate and AMAZING! Dr LoMonaco allowed the "me" who had been living under all that excess skin, to shine though. I no longer need to tuck myself into my skinny jeans, or wear padded bras. Now when I look in the mirror, my body reflects how I have felt since I initially lost all the weight, which is: thin, fit, healthy, and proportionate. My scars look amazing, and the healing was quick and painless. Dr. LoMonaco is very experienced, and take the time to explain everything, and prepare you for what you will experience. His staff is wonderful, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. I was nervous about traveling from out of town to have surgery, but it felt more like a vacation, than a surgery. I went in to the operating room with a smile on my face, and months later, I'm still smiling. I highly recommend Dr. LoMonaco for anyone has lost a significant amount of weight. Our journey as weight loss patients just isn't complete, until the skin is gone. Thank you Dr. LoMonaco, for completing my weight loss journey, and allowing the "real me" to shine through.

If you have ever struggled with weight then you probably have body issues. And this might sound familiar.... I'd rather die in a burning burning building then run out of it naked. Even now only weighing 148 lbs. I still hated being naked. So all of that hard work and muscles I built up were lost under the lose skin.
When I went in for my consultation I was in full on flop sweat, especially when it came time for the photos!!!

Sally (one of the girls) was the drop dead gorgeous girl with a kind heart and infectious laugh and she all but held my hand through it all. It was the worst part but part of the process amd Sally could not have been kinder to me through it all.

I saved up for almost four years to be able to have this full body transformation. And his rates are so reasinable it crazy. I had a Butt lift, breast reduction and lift, inner thight lift, arm lift and he even corrected a proceedure a well known surgeon in Southlake did (botched thigh lipo and the "poof" under the tummy tuck that this southlake surgeon just didnt do). Dr LoMonaco FIXED IT ALL!!!!

Now I have a really high pain tolerance so I had this all.done in two surgeries. Trust me he won't let you do more than you can handle.
Take 6 months to do all of that if you're having that much done. Have the first set, Rest for three and then finish. No matter how excited you are to get it all done... remember its a process and they know what they are doing. Let them guide you through it. He is an artist with mad skills. He knows the body inside and out. This is one of the truly good guys.

Here's the kicker. He actually really cares about you. It means something to him to have the ability to help you finish your journey to change your life. Again, he has MAD SKILLS and I cant stress enough how important that is!!!!!
That's a winning combo you don't find in every doctor.

His staff is extremely knowleedgable, kind, funny and yes very attractive. But not that fake pretty you see in ads. These girls are tender, compassionate, positive and genuine.

They should all be given awards for what they do by going above and beyond for their patients.

It's a life changing surgery(s) and journey you go when you decide to do this... I can't recommend going on it with snyone else but Dr. LoMonaco

Dr. LoMonaco and his staff were ABSOLUTELY amazing. I had several questions and worries before the procedure. After, our two hour consultation , I knew I had found the right doctor. He took his time and answered all of my questions, I never felt rushed. Words can not describe the nurses. They went out of their way to help me, they always answered texts, picture text, emails, I had abt post-op. They were extremely thorough about the pre-op, and post-op. Speaking of post-op, I could not be happier with the results. I feel like a new person, it's incredible, I am extremely happy!!!! I highly recommended Dr. L and his staff!!! I trust them 100% with my body!

I have not had bariatric surgery but I have lost over 100 pounds and I understand the struggles of weight loss and obesity. Having said that here is my review:


I couldn't be HAPPIER!!! I interviewed 7 PS before I met with Dr. LoMonaco; before meeting him I'd narrowed it down to 2 surgeons. Ten minutes into the initial meeting with Dr. L I knew he was the one that was going to do my procedure no matter the cost. Dr. L was the most honest and realistic doctor I had encounter. He spent amble enough (about and hour and a half) time with me to hear and understand what my desires were. He gave me realistically what could be achieved. I LOVE HIM FOR THAT. My post results are EXACTLY what he said they would be; he is a miracle worker. Throughout my entire experience he and his staff have been nothing but THE BEST!!!!! I am so pleased with my results!!!

Dr John LoMonaco is a top notch plastic surgeon who specializes in weight loss patients. He had been on this long journey with me and has absoultely transformed my body. He and his staff are all very caring and you matter to them. You are never treated as a potential profit like some plastic surgeons do...but they really care about how you are doing and remember you no matter how long it has been since you last visited.
