John LoMonaco Plastic Surgeon MD, FACS

Dr. John LoMonaco is a top notch plastic surgeon with an eye for detail and precision and the compassion to care for you at the same time. He is passionate about you as a patient and he loves his art (which shows through his thorough consultations and the final product). I followed him since he premiered on a show called Big Medicine (circa 2007). I had my first consult in 2012 and I wasn't able to have my procedure until July 2014. I am very pleased with my results.

Although this review is noted under thigh lift, I also had a buttock lift/Brazilian buttock lift, scar revision on breasts, and capsulorrhaphy.

In addition to being a great surgeon, Dr. L. has an awesome staff. Destiny, his surgical assistant, is truly an angel. She is patient, considerate, understanding, and most of all she has the gift of follow up. She never once seemed annoyed with my repetitive questions and concerns.

Please note, when choosing a surgeon, it is important to understand what he/she will do for you IF there are complications. How will revisions be handled? What about scaring? Dr. LoMonaco covered all of these items before the procedure.

I am so pleased I chose Dr. Lomonaco for my breast reconstruction. He was thorough in the consultation and made sure he understood what results I was hoping to get. His bedside manner is wonderful and his work, well I couldn't be more pleased with him and his entire staff.

5 weeks after TT Lipo and BBL
After months of research in regards of a TT, Lipo and BBL procedure I found Dr Lomonaco. Although his location was a good distance from me I decided to consult with him. From my first visit I knew I had made the right choice. Dr. L spend a long time explaining the procedures and answering questions, he was very clear about what to expect in regards of outcome, recovery and other concerns. The day of the surgery he reassure me it was normal to feel nervous and he lightened up the mood by making a few jokes. Surgery was a breeze, I spend the night at St John’s Hospital where the staff was wonderful. I saw Dr. L the next morning as well as his nurse Destiny who assisted him during surgery, they have a wonderful bed site manner. During the first week after discharged, I was called every day by nurses Sheila or nurse Destiny to check up on me, I was also sent home with a pain pump that administered medication for 3 day after discharged. My level of pain was minimal after surgery and I was able to control it with ibuprofen and Tylenol. At the office the staff was great from Patty, Vicki and Stephanie they all were wonderful courteous and always concern over my wellbeing. Vicki was excellent in suggesting additional beauty treatments , love her professionalism and warmth towards clients. In a nutshell nothing but A+++++++++ and positive things to say about Dr. Lomonaco and his staff. Best decision I have ever made.

Dr Lomonaco is an amazing, caring, and experienced surgeon. He made me feel so comfortable and confident. I am very happy with my results and would recommend him and his staff to anyone.

Such a warm and sincere doctor, he makes you feel like family. Better yet, he treats you like your his family. His expertise in plastic surgery will surely impress you. His staff is warm, energetic, and keep you movitated. I had a chest lift, with implants, and an abdominoplasty. Being 9 months post op, I'm thrilled with the results and still feel like everyday my body is constantly improving. Its exciting. Being a nurse, I've been around alot of doctors, he is definitely at the top of my list. You wont have any regrets going to

I had breast augmentation by Dr. Lomonaco. He and his staff are awesome. He is very concerned with the needs of his patients and his number one goal always seemed to be knowing exactly what I wanted to achieve and doing everything he could to deliver that final outcome for me. I have not had my surgery yet, but my date is coming up soon on February 11! I couldn't be more excited for this change. Dr. Lomonaco answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable in knowing that he saw the same problems areas that I did, and did not try pushing me into doing more than what we had agreed on, or what I had came in for.
He definitely is not in it for the money, considering of my young age, he put that into the big picture to make sure that I was ready for my plans and knowledgeable in my decision. Could not have asked for a better doctor who definitely cares about his patients health overall.

I am in LOVE with my new body! I had a mommy makeover 7 weeks ago and I already look amazing if I do say so my self! Dr. Lomonoco performed a breast augmentation (400 cc), full tummy tuck with muscle repair and lipo of the hips, back and stomach. I went to several consultations and, although I have wanted to have this surgery for over 10 years, I was always too afraid to do it. I kept thinking, “what if I end up on Botched!” Trusting a surgeon to make PERMANENT changes to your body was scary to me. After meeting with Dr. Lomonoco and his team, there was no question that I could trust him. Dr. Lomonoco is VERY thorough and LISTENED to what I wanted. My primary goal was to loose the kangaroo pouch from having children and to make me look slim and proportioned. He took the time during the initial consult to look through so many pictures of what I liked until I felt good about our goal. I even ran out of questions! Every visit after that was equally as personal. Surgery day went very smooth and they worked closely with my husband to make sure that all of the post op care was understood and he felt comfortable with everything. Dr. Lomonoco’s nurses called everyday for the first week until the initial in office follow up visit. This being my first major surgery, I was very appreciative of their personal attention to my healing and comfort. I wore my first bikini! Ever! In public! I can’t wait for the results to get even better!

I love Dr. LoMonaco! Very professional and gave excellent suggestions which I followed. The staff are terrific - particularly Destiny and Chela who followed up with me every day after surgery. I am a post bariatric patient and this felt like crossing a finish line. I highly recommend!!
