I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr Rubin, Dr Gusenoff and all their support staff!!! I hade my surgery on March 3 and have had NO problems thanks to the GREAT care that they took of me. From my initial meeting, Dr. Rubin was extremely patient and listened to all of my concerns and fully answered all of my questions. After discussing my options with Dr. Rubin, I ended up having a Brachioplasty, an Abdominoplasty and a Breast Lift/Reduction. He & Dr. Gusenoff made sure that I knew all of the possible risks and what to expect at each stage of the process so that there were no surprises. Dr. Gusenoff even took time on the Saturday after my surgery to meet me at the office so that some of the drainage tubes could be removed and I could be more comfortable. My recovery was uneventful and because of the GREAT work that Drs. Rubin and Gusenoff did I am progressing wonderfully. Since the surgery, I have dropped 2-3 sizes and at the 6 week point was released to resume all normal activities. I am getting complements from folks that I know and many that I don't and it is all due to the work that the doctors did -- I could not be more pleased with the result! The folks that work in Dr. Rubin's office and with him at the hospital are so warm and caring. They manage the schedule so that you are not wasting your time waiting around and yet I always felt that I had as much time with the Drs. as I needed. They are wonderful! I can't wait til I can be fully recovered so I can start planning for the lower body lift & will be definitely asking Dr. Rubin to do it! Thank you, Dr. Rubin and Dr. Gusenoff!!!!

My new life is starting at age 57. I couldn’t feel better or be any more thrilled. In October of 2006, I had my gastric by-pass. Making the decision to do this was monumental. I thought I was too old and too sick to bother. I was totally wrong. I felt great from the first week on.

Five months later I started to swim and the weight fell off. Boy did it fall off…my arms were very disgusting and my stomach fell between my legs.

On the advice of my doctor, I made an appointment with Dr. Rubin. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would have plastic surgery but my arms were just horrible and that kind of surgery is not covered by insurance so it took a joint decision from my husband and I to take out a loan and make an investment in me for the first time in our 36 years together. As with most people, we put everyone and everything before our individual needs. I know I have done that my entire life and now it is time to invest in me. We took out a loan I had a Panniculectomy and Brachioplasty.

Yesterday I went to the office for a check up and guess what, I decided to invest in two other major decisions and in September hope to have my neck and lower face worked on and my legs reduced. I am so excited. Doctors Rubin and Gusenoff are SUPERIOR in every way. From beginning to end, they are caring, thorough, and precise experts in reconstruction.

By October of 2008, hopefully my new lease on life will be signed and I will continue to grow stronger and more active and enjoy my life “senior” years with more zest and activity than I had when I was younger.

I suggest investing in yourself. It is the best thing decision I made and Dr. Rubin is making all my wishes and hopes come true thanks to his expertise and going above and beyond to make me look as wonderful as I feel.

This man is an absolute genius!

Dr. Rubin is an brilliant surgeon. For my personal surgery he performed a lower body lift and a tummy tuck. Since the surgery, I have never felt stronger or looked better. His vision in sculpting post biatric patients is nothing less than extraordinary. Loosing 150 pounds was no easy task (and keeping it off), but the transformation of my body is unbelievable. Equally important, however, in spite of his popularity, his bedside manner, care and individual concern for each patient, his integrity, and the excellence of his team, in my opinion go unmatched. At 58, I am thrilled, grateful to have become his patient, now blessed with the loveliness of his work and feel very strong, healthy and confident.

I went to Dr. Rubin for an extended TT, a breast lift and an extended thigh lift. I am thrilled with the outcome. I love the new body that Dr. Rubin sculpted for me. He was very friendly and had a great bedside manner. I have never felt rushed with any of my appointments and he has been great at putting my mind at ease with the surgeries and the recovery process. His Fellow, Dr. Gusenoff, is exceptional. I have been seeing him for my aftercare and he is very warm and knowledgable. The couple of times that I had to page him, the response time was very quick and my questions were answered. He has gone out of his way to make me feel comfortable physically and mentally. I would recommend Dr. Rubin and his practice to anyone for PS after WLS. A+++

Dr Rubin has exceptional bedside/office manner. He is not forceful of ideas yet he has a style that is honest and he will help direct your ideas so that you remain realistic. He is very grounded and goal oriented. I originally went to see him for a hernia repair and panniculectomy but I would have liked an entire body makeover. After discussing my weight loss and my skin issues I discovered I could benefit from a lower body lift, thigh work, the hernia repair with some skin removal along with that, and a breast reduction, and my insurance would support almost all of it. Dr Rubin and his team did a fabulous job and I would recommend him to everyone. What he has given back to me is my dignity and that is truly priceless. I love my new body. Dr Rubin is a Brilliant Artist!

Dr. Ruben is the most caring person who goes over and beyond when it comes to taking care of his patients. I did extensive research and was recommended to Dr. R. by two other Plastic Surgeons. I did not have Bariatri Surgery. I lost my weight by changing my lifestyle. I had an upper body lift which included two revisions. They are much more complicated to perform. I cannot believe how Dr. Ruben sculpted me a new upper body. ( he is also a sculpture artist!) I cried when I saw that I had normal looking arms for the first time. I have the utmost repect for Dr. Ruben as a physician and as the caring person that he is. His staff is exceptional! I highly recommend Dr. Ruben for any plastic work that you are considering, especially body contouring. Dr. Rubin and his staff are awesome! They know so much about how to help you after you've lost lots of weight. Dr. Rubin helps you to decide what surgeries need to be done first, but he doesn't push or try to sway you to his way of thinking. I am so happy with my tummy tuck and lower body lift! He's an artist. My body, post surgery, is wonderfully proportioned and shaped.

Dr. Rubin is awesome and he makes you feel really comfortable. He made this a great experience.
I am happy with what he has done to my body. I never in my wildest dreams thought that someone could make me look this good.
I could joke with him and he has a great sense of humor.
His employees are awesome as well. They made me feel comfortable at the office and this. overall. was a wonderful experience.

Dr Rubin & Staff were highly professional and very thorough in their care of me.Ihad an abdominoplast done on November 1st, 2004 and the pre-op and post op care were excellent. I would certainly recommend this surgeon to anyone looking for someone highly skilled and professional.I will be having another procedure done in the future and I can assure you that this is the surgical team I will be choosing.
