This was one of the most heart warming doctors and staff that I hae ever experienced! It was well worth the 4 hour drive just to see everybody and I now love myself! Thank you for everything!
Dr. Dry is absolutely phenomenal! He answered all my questions, and helped me understand every step of the lower body lift I had. He has personal experience with weight loss, and I think it gives him some remarkable insight. He is caring and his staff is equally caring, supportive, and kind. I didn't feel "90210'd".
Just had my first consultation with Dr Dry this morning. I plan on doing a lower body lift (minus Abdominoplasty) and he and his staff were wonderful. They really make you feel comfortable and explain everything. I am planning on surgery in December. I had met with another Dr in the area but found Dr. Dry and his staff to be so wonderful that there is no question as to who I wanted doing my surgery.
Dr. Dry specializes in plastic surgery for those of us that have lost a lot of weight and has studied under leading plastic surgeons who specialize in plastic surgery after massive weight loss including Dr. Lockwood. In my first consultation with him he asked me what it was that I wanted most out of this surgery. My first response was, "I would love to buy myself a pair of Levi brand jeans that actually fit my butt AND my waist." I had never been able to wear a pair of Levis. I know it sounds like a small success but it was one that had always been out of my reach. I was completely surprised when he said, "I know what you mean, I used to be overweight and had always wanted to be able to wear levi's like everyone else." He told me he finally lost the weight (80 pounds) and does understand how it feels to have these "little" successes. He has a true passion for those of us that have had to fight our weight our whole life. He gave me my levi butt!!! His passion is obvious and his professionalism allows you to feel comfortable from the first moment on. You know you are in good hands. His office staff is very knowledgeable about those of us who have struggled with weight our whole life. From the beginning to the end the journey is a positive one and the results are unbelievable. I am now a size 6 which I keep having to pinch myself to believe!!
I found Dr. Dry on ObesityHelp.com and scheduled a consultation last July, after consulting with another plastic surgeon earlier in the summer. Unlike the other surgeon, Dr. Dry REALLY listened to what I wanted. I learned in my first appointment that he specializes in plastic surgery for bariatric patients and has studied under several of the country's leading plastic surgeons who work on those who have lost large amounts of weight. I scheduled surgery for September 2004 and had a face lift, upper and lower eyelid lift, under-chin reduction, and arm reduction. I am very pleased with Dr. Dry's work. He has taken not only excess skin off my body but years off my looks! After a rapid and easy recovery, I scheduled a breast lift for January 2005. The results are astounding. I tell all my friends my bra size went from a 36-long to a 34-perky!! My breasts have NEVER looked so young!! The surgery was virtually painless, and recovery has been incredibly easy. This summer I plan to have Dr. Dry start work on my lower body (tummy, thighs, possibly butt). I feel very confident in his ability to do as excellent a job there as the top half because he really cares about being sure I'm pleased with the results.
