Frank Madda Plastic Surgeon MD, DDS, MS

Dr. Frank Madda is THE BOMB!! I loved him so much. He did a full adominoplasty and 3 hernia repairs. Dr. Madda is a up front doctor. I researched him exclusively. I researched his background and every part of his career. He is rated number one in the country and I can see why. His work was awesome. I'm a wls patient and even when I gained 15lbs back, my stomach is still looks flat. He's wonderful! He will be honesty with you. He is use to examining wls patients and if he feels you need to lose some more weight, he will tell you. He will also refuse to do surgery on you if you don't meet his requirements. He takes pride in his reputation and he doesn't need the money. He has no reason to lie to you. After you meet his satisfaction, he will operate with care. His bedside manner is fabolous. I'm so impressed with his work, I'm going back to get some liposuction (the flank area) and a breast lift. He is just that good. I honestly recommend him to everyone in the illinois area. Tell him Angela F. Armstrong sent you! He remembers me! Oh, may I add, I'm a black woman and my scars look fabolous!!!

This doctor is of excellent character and manner, but his office staff/nurse lacks any compassion or personality - actually quite rude. If you are only dealing with Dr. Madda all is good, but if you have any interation with his nurse you may face a challenge. His insurace girl (Hoffman Estates office) is very helpful and kind and quick to respond and answer questions.

This plastic surgeon is top-rate. I was a self-pay patient, so I cannot speak to the insurance issue, but this doctor does wonderful work.

I had an abdominoplasty with revision of my RNY scar. The new scars are flat and thin after a very short time, and I could not be happier with the results. I expect it will look even better over time.

This doctor is very supportive of his gastric bypass patients. He tends to want to move things along at times, but will answer all questions thoroughly. The positive side of this is that I've had almost no wait time on any office visits, which I very much appreciate.

His manner is comforting and supportive; he is an extremely capable surgeon who knows what he's doing and does it well.

Dr. Madda and his entire office/surgical team were absolutely WONDERFUL in every way. From the very first visit I and my husband felt very comfortable with Dr. Madda. I had an abdominalplasty plus he did a revision of my incision from the gastric bypass surgery. It has now been over a year from the surgery and my scar is BEAUTIFUL, barely noticeable. He is an excellent surgeon and I always recommend him to anyone whos asks about my surgery. His care after the surgery was also wonderful and compassionate. I will definitely be seeing him again soon (have to get those breasts lifted :).

I had a full abdominoplasty with muscle resection from Dr Madda a few months ago. He did an excellent job. I was trying to go through insurance and had a different Dr but when the insurance denied me a few times I looked for a Dr I was more comfortable with. I interviewed 6 PS and Dr Madda was the BEST. I felt very comfortable with. $7000 for everything. Very happy with the results. Thanks DR M

If I was self-pay, Dr. Madda probably would have been a good choice. He seems to have experience with WLS patients and I've heard he is quite good. However I was apprehensive about the mons pubis repair. When I asked about that he said it should be ok with just a tummy tuck (from my research that is not always the case). My main complaint with him was that he had absolutely no interest in pursuing insurance coverage for any of my needs. I specifically had asked his office staff how willing they were to go for insurance coverage, before I made the appointment for the consult. He quoted me $7,000 cash for an extended abdominoplasty. The surgeon I chose instead quoted $10,000 for a much more extensive abdominoplasty AND for brachioplasty. PLUS, his insurance coordinator has been an angel. The surgeon I ended up choosing also wrote a fabulous letter to the insurance company.

This man is by far teh best in his field. he is the head of several orginizations adn he also teaches at teh university of Chicago. I would recommend this surgeon to anyone who wants the best high quality care.

Dr. Madda has spoken at WLS support group meetings and has handled surgeries for post-op patients. However, it appeared that he did not want to deal with insurance companies and only wanted self-pay.
