Great hospital I could have saved about 20% using the hospital next door but my doctors nurse said this hospital is more private and better and they were great.

There is no com[parison between Parkland and Zale. By far Zale is superior

The medical, nursing, housekeeping and other patient services staffs were the best that I've ever experienced. They went out of their way to make sure that my and my family's stay was as comfortable as possible. They even located a recliner for my room to make things easier for me.

Seems like they have several "groups" of health care people who do not communicate with one another - I had people come in and try to do things that had already been done, then the confusion on their faces told me that no one was even reading my chart. LONG list of examples, not the least of which the nursing staff let one of my VISITORS administer the morphine while I was out cold in ICU - then later on they had to WATCH me and be sure I actually swallowed my Lasix pill. What a joke.

I can't say enough about this hospital and its staff. My nurses were wonderful and everyone from the Physical Therapists, to the Respiratory Therapists, to the Dietitian were very patient and helpful.
