White Plains Hospital Hospital
The hospital I felt was good. My first night out of surgery one of the nurses made a comment about why I am having the surgery and it made me feel very uncomfortable. The following morning I spoke with Dr. Homan and he took care of it. He spoke with the Head Nurse and she later spoke with me and Dr. Homan and the Head Nurse apologized. The other nurses were very nice. I was lucky enough to be able to really get around on my own by Sunday.
The nursing staff is specifically designed to deal with biatric patients, if a nurse is unknown to the produre and the care required they will help but don't know of your specific need of what you can and cannot eat/drink. Trust me it happened to me twice. The nursing staff is really motivated and want to see you do well with surgery and do have alot of encouraging words, which makes me you feel good and very comfortable.
