University of Washington Hospital
I just wish that when they schedule a surgery that they have enough beds on the floor that you are suppose to be on. I was suppose to go to ICU. it took them 12hrs to finally have a room for me there than it took them another 12hrs to find me a room on the floor. I was suppose to be on the 4th floor that is where all the gastric bypass patients go but they had me on the 6th floor. So nobody really knew what was going on with me. They wanted me to eat a whole meal before they would let me go home. I told them that they were crazy.

from the time I walked in the doors til the day I left everyone was friendly kind and willing to help in any way. There was no feeling of beeing looked down on. The staff would say things like how proud they are for me taking such a big step. The nurses all but 1 went out of their way to help me in any way I asked. Even all the Resedents, Interns, and med students were awesome. Highly recomended.

I love the nurses and staff at UW Medical Center they were all so nice to me of course I guess anywhere you go there are people who aren't respecetful of you but then again when your on tons of medications and a little loopy and not quite sure where you are I guess things can look and seem foggy and not quite what they seem. I have so much thanks for my surgeon and his team you guys all saved my life and for the nurses who had to put up with me afterwards..... Thank you and I'm sorry for the trouble. And to the Physical Therapy staff and the Lift Team thank you so very much for your kindness and your patience with me. Overall I had a wonderful experience at UW Medical Center.
