Tempe St. Luke's Hospital (COE) Hospital

It was a very nice hospital and for the most part the staff was very accomadating.

The staff at the hospital was great. Very attentive and supportive. They understood the needs of the WLS patients and offered encouragement often.

Let's face it, a hospital is not the place to go for rest. Between the beeping of the call buttons, beeping of the alarms for the IV, and being awakened every few hours to get vitals checked, it's hardly the place for peace and quiet. But I knew this going in so it was okay. It's a good incentive to get out of there. Most of my nurses were men, which is good for helping larger patients get out of bed but a little uncomfortable for female issues. But I figured, hey, they are trained and should be able to deal with it, and they did. The nurses were very supportive of my decision and because of their exerience with bariatric patients, they were knowledgeable and informative.

They made my experience a very positive one. The staff was knowledgeable and catered to every need.

They have quite a small town appeal to them, as they are a small communtiy hospital. The nurses did not seem too busy, and knew me by name. I highly recommend this hospital to all bariatric patients (and the WISHCenter and Dr. Koler, too!)
