I didn't feel like just another body from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. Not to mention my nurse was a banded patient! That was a BIG plus!

I thought it was a bit assembly lineish. I mean you were in the room with other patients right there (no privacy) both before and after. They lined you up pre and post op. One lady was having bad naseau afterwards and I could hear all about it being so close to her in recovery room. I guess this keeps the cost down so self-pay like me can afford it. The nurses were just awesome...so friendly and they really care. Mine had the lap band 4 years ago and really helped me with all my anxiety I had pre op.

The hospital staff and nurses were very nice. They let my whole family come in the pre-op room with me. There were plenty of accomodations for overweight people.
