Southampton Hospital Hospital
DR. SADAHASAVIM IS A VERY GENTLE AND SOFTSPOKEN MAN WITH A GENUINE CONCERN FOR HIS PATIENTS. MY EXPERIENCE WITH HIM WAS A GOOD ONE AND I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM. UNFORTUNATELY THERE SEEMS TO BE A COMMUNICATION PROBLEM AMONG HIS STAFF. THEY TEND TO OVERLAP INFORMATION AT TIMES AND AT OTHERS OMIT INFORMATION. BE SURE TO ASK QUESTIONS. THE AFTERCARE PROGRAM IS LIMITED TO DIETARY REQUIREMENTS AND THERE IS A SUPPORT GROUP THAT MEETS AT DIFFERENT LOCATIONS ONCE A MONTH. HIS SURGICAL COMPETENCE SEEMS TO EXCEED HIS BEDSIDE MANNER SLIGHTLY, ALTHOUGH I THINK PART OF THAT IS BECAUSE OF DIFFICULTY UNDERSTANDING HIM AT TIMES.
filfthy rooms, feces on toilets, waiting 1.5hrs for nurse to answer call button, bruised arms from unsuccessful IV insertion, twilight zone atmosphere, one nurse with obvious borderline personality disorder, a few nice caring compassionate nurses, but few and far between. doctors were not compassionate, but self-righteous and narcissistic.
The nursing staff was well informed about the care as well as the concern for what we are going through. I think they are amazing and my night nurse was the most compasionate caring person in the world, without her i believe i would have lost it the first night, she truly made a difference. God bless the whole staff.....they are on the ball.
First I want to say that the nursing staff on the floor was the best. Every one of those nurses was great I can't say one bad thing about any of them. That is the truth. They were right there whenever you needed them no matter what time it was. You would think that the late shift would slack off well not here the Nurse there that I had was great. They made my stay there a smooth one. I had to stay more then 3 days because of becoming anemic. So I had them even longer then most. I want to say Thank you to all of the NURSES AT SOUTHAMPTON HOSPITAL YOU WERE ALL GREAT.
