Saint Luke's Health System (COE) Hospital
My only complaint really was day shift when I was recovering after the surgery. They didn't do their jobs well, or give me anything that I needed. Everything that I got, including a bath was on the night shift, from a RN who was working as an lpn for extra money. He was a male nurse and very considerate of my situation and condition. I feel I owe him far more than I could ever say here.
Most of the nurses were very good about coming within 5 minutes of me pushing the call light. However, there were also some that took their darn sweet time about it. I had one Patient Care Technician (PCT) that was just absolutley awful!! I had her the 2nd night I was there. She came into my room with a HUGE attitude, rolling her eyes and making rude comments, I finally just came right out and told her to loose the attitude or get me a new PCT. Although, I still felt she was rude, she did quit rolling her eyes and making the comments where I could hear them.
I love the level of patient care here! They have not only a nurse who is caring for you, but 2 patient technicians too. there is always someone there to take your call from the call light.
Plus they were wonderful with my hubby, THAT impressed me beyond belief. They took as good of care of him as me!
