I was pleasently surprised with Riverside. I've been to St. Ann's and Mt. Carmel West and Riverside was by far the best of the three.

Riverside Methodist Hospital is a top ranked hospital and the experience was top notch from start to finish. I recommend Riverside 100%.

I should have filed a suit against the Hospital for the way I was treated and released too soon. Driven by my insurance company and not by my medical needs, they tossed my out. I hate them.

Physical privacy is poor. You are put is tiny crowded cubicles, they leave your curtains open, never given a call light or asked if you wanted the curtains pulled. They can't get their gurney's into the cubicle to transfer you onto it for transport to the test. They make you climb off one cart and they try to climb on another in the "hallway" in front of all the other patients. Bariatric patients have difficulty moving, I was exposed because my gown slid to the side. They barely cover you -using a draw sheet instead of a full sized sheet. I got left in a hallway with four other patients - we all felt exposed, forgotten and very much like cattle. The staff was nice - there is just not enough of them and they are trying to do too many procedures in one day - but then EVERY hospital is like that at sometime or another.
