PRMC is one of the best hospitals in my opinion. They saved my dad's life 6 years ago, and they were wonderful before and after my surgery. They even called me the next day to ensure everything was okay and if I had any questions.

The facility was great, but I got the impression the nurses were overworked.. I'm a nurse so I can relate, but that might be hard for other people to understand

I liked the hospital overall. It was just the little things like the nurses' attitudes, and the CAs had attitudes as well. One night a pressed the button for help out of bed and no one came for twenty minutes. The lady that was just getting on shift asked them why they were still sitting at the desk instead of helping me, I could've fallen and broken something and no one would know. That's what she told me and that's what she said she told them. My favorite CA was "Giggles". I was also supposed to be on a list for a Private Room and they didn't even do the paperwork or put me on the list. They added me when I went into the hospital...like it mattered then. I shared a room, needless to say. But she and I got along fine. So if you have to go to PRMC, I suggest you make sure all your paperwork is done.

they tried to put a tube down me when i told them my dr did not tell me anything about it... then when i told them i was not feeling right to call my dr they would not ... i ended up in ICU after i called my sister in anough state to call my dr at home because i was feeling so bad when the dr got there i was running 104 fever and bp was droped out. i feel if the nurse's would have called or listened to me i would not have ended up in ICU..

There are so many comments made lately about the shortage of nurses and the lack of care when you are in the hospital, that I went into PRMC with no expectations. I found the nursing staff to be very attentive and caring for my needs. My husband was there with me as much as visiting hours allowed, and supplemented the nursing care.

I would recommend PRMC to anyone who is seeking any type of treatment. I was very impressed with the way I was treated; as a person (not a case). From my first contact each person was friendly, helpful and acted as if it was their job to make sure that everything went as smoothly and as pleasantly for me as possible while I was there for whatever reason (testing, day-procedure, surgery, complication and recovery). An excellent facility!!!
