She is tough but the best possible match-up for me! I'm now 4 years post-op, I do what she says and I'm down about 170 pounds. She taught me to think of food as fuel. It's like putting gas in your car. I have my life back. I'm extremely active and I look and feel 20 years younger.

I have met very few people I like as much as my surgeon. Sometimes you can just tell when someone really knows what the are doing. An amazing individual that has not saved my life but changed it in ways that I never even thought about. At 42 years of age I am now doing things that even if I lost the weight I never thought I would be doing. Weight can be a tru handicap but once it's under control age is truly just a number.rnThanks Doc.
Dr. LEGHA AND HIS STAFF ARE THE SHIZZZZ!!!! The whole process was so easy and even when unexpected events like my company changing my insurance provider happened, they worked it out to bump my surgery date up so that I would not have to start the process over. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Legha, the nutritionist Seema and his coordinator Susan. I woke up with ZERO pain! A little nausea and a bit of discomfort, but not any pain. Since my surgery, I am down 24 lbs. Since the begining of the whole process, I am down 40. I'm extremely pleased with the complete experience and would pick Dr. Legha again in a heartbeat.

My doctor, Dr. John Feng was in the SF office. He was at CPMC, this is where I had my surgery. But now he is somewhere else giving other people in San Mateo a chance to experience his expertise. I have to say I do not have not one bad thing to say about Dr. Feng. I was so nervous meeting him but he made me feel very comfortable. I had a list of things I wanted to ask him, but during our consult he answered everything I had on my list without me even having to ask the question. The staff bent over backwards to get everything for me to submit my paperwork to the insurance co. Dr. Feng, speaks very fast, but he covers everything and you really don't need to ask questions. When he came to check on me after my surgery, the same day, I was already drinking all my liquids and he said I was doing so good that there wasn't anything else they could do for me, so he sent me home the next day after surgery. I haven't had any problems with my surgery at all. I went back for my post op and he kept me on the liquid phase for about 2 weeks then thick liquids for about 4 weeks and so on. He wanted to make sure that my pouch was healed all the way. I have to say that I think he is a very good surgeon and I followed his instructions and between the both of us, I have had a very sucessful weight lose. Both his surgical competence and his bedside manner are awesome. On a scale from one to ten Dr. John Feng is a 10.
I really do not have anything negative to say about Dr. Foster. She is very honest and tells you the way it is; no fluff. She is very good a taking time to talk with you regarding your issues and has a lot of suggestions. She listens to you and tries to tailor her suggestions to you, not just give you the \"blanket suggestion\", or one size fits all. I am 6 years out (this Nov) and I saw her last year and she remembered e, although I have not been back to see her in 5 years. She also said that she was happy to talk to my new Dr (I changed insurances so I have to go to a Kaiser surgeon). The only thing I would suggest is a better long term support program.
Dr.Wetter made me feel so comfortable! He has a wonderful personality and a great sense of humor. I am so thankful I found him. His staff is very supportive. They had everything done and submitted to my insurance before I could even call and check up. I am so impressed with the courtesy and professionalism they show to their patients.
