Dr. Wetter is awesome. He is funny and very personable. He has always taken as much time as I needed while in the office. He (not his staff) has even called me at home to make sure I was doing after surgery. His staff is awesome (Yvette is the bomb). THey are alway helpful.

Good guy, very nice. Responded to Emails very quickly (most of the time.)

He's very busy though, and it shows. He may be overwhelmed, but I've heard that he's very quick.

His office staff is nice, though make sure you're prepared for a significant wait past your scheduled appointment.

I loved Dr Wetter he came highly reccomended from my Doctor and friends who have had the surgery.the office staff was very friendly and this was the only time i wanted to actually weigh in of course what i didn't like was i expected him to look at my file and immediately submit my insurance forms for surgery( my visit date was 4-23-03) he asked me my eating habits and of course i told the truth so I signed my wl contract and my next appt was Jun 4th 2003 he wants 3meals a day and no snacks he would love to see you lose 10% of your weight before surgery a sure sign your trying and serious really makes sure you know this is a wl tool not a miracle you have to work at it and change your life style.
the after care is awesome from what i hear the risks we're talked about as in any surgery the biggest one of course is blood clots so keep moving overall he is compassionate and accurate he told us a incident that happened with his family and a car trip and it sounded just like my children and he really makes you look at what are you doing before surgery to change your eating and exercise habits.

What can I say about Dr. Foster? She is an incredibly sympathetic person who seems truly interested in my success in this surgery. She sets the standards high and makes sure that you are really prepared to go through the surgery. She takes her time to explain everything and has never rushed me through the process. I love her manner with both my husband and I, I can honestly say that she is a joy to have as a surgeon and I am so lucky to have found her!

My Dad and StepMom saw an interview with Dr Feng on a local news channel. I followed the news channel website link to Dr. Feng's website www.lapsf.com. My first appointment with him was extremely educational. He is excellent at explaining in great detail (which I love)what the surgery involves, and he does this so the everyday person can understand. He was compassionate and sympathetic to my struggle with weight without being patronizing. I called him two days after the consult and he returned my call the same day! Three weeks later at the support group meeting, I wanted to clarify something he told me and he remembered speaking with me on the phone and what we talked about. His goal was to perform surgery with the lowest risk possible and best weight loss success for my extremely high BMI. Amazingly, he also was concerned about minimizing my expenses (I'm self-pay)and took all this into account when recommending the appropriate procedure. His office staff is awesome and I have complete confidence in him as a Surgeon. I fully expect his bedside manner is as great as his knowledge and caring. Nothing has been negative at this point.

Dr Wetter and his staff are great ( special thanks to Yvette, who made the approval so easy) Dr. Wetter is known as the lap God on many site's that I have researched. He's very personable and very dedicated, and I have complete confidence in his skills.

The following information is based on my personal experience with wls.

When I met Dr. Feng at the consultation appointment, he seemed friendly and wanted to learn about my medical history, lifestyle, and interests. He took a considerable amount of time to explain the WLS options that were available laporoscopically for my consideration. He also talked about the benefits and risks associated with each one. Dr. Feng is a thoughtful person.

After surgery, he spoke with my wife about the procedure, what took place and helped her to learn more about what to expect post-op, both in hospital and the first few weeks at home. They spoke about dietary and necessary nutritional suppliments.

LapSF, the practice, has a very helpful staff. Every time I needed information they were able to assist. The practice has a great surgical nurse that assists in bariatric surgery at St. Luke's! Shawna walked me through what to expect prior to surgery and then answered many questions post-op. She stopped by each afternoon to check in and learn of my progress.

When Dr. Feng came in on my last day at the hospital, he provided a comprehensive booklet for post-op care that included nutritional and excercise information. He has been responsive via email to answer any questions and is concerned about after care. Both his surgical competence and bedside manner are great!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Wetter yesterday, 7/14/03. What a wonderful Doctor. He was very personable. He gave both my husband and me a warm welcome. He spent quite some time with us explaining all about bariatric surgery. He was very open and honest. He let you know that this surgery is just a tool and I will have to work at this as well. He encouraged me to eat only 3 balanced meals a day and excercise to loose some weight first so that the surgery would have the best outcome possible. I was encouraged by this because I didn't feel he was negative in any way. It wasn't threatening but more that the Doctor had your best interest in mind. That is a big plus. I know that I am just starting out with this but what a great way to start. I definetly felt at peace about this whole process because of how Dr. Wetter presented himself to me. I would recommend Dr. Wetter to any one considering bariatric surgery.

My first impression of Dr. Wetter was, Oh he is really cute...I wonder if he is married?? Wait, I'm married, and my husband is here!! There goes that chance! =)
Dr. Wetter was very informative. Explained how the different surgeries worked. Asked me questions about my eating habits to try to evaluate what surgery would work best for me. He went over the risks involved. I found peace of mind when we spoke of his "track record". He told me to think long and hard about what I wanted to do because my BMI really wasn't that high...but high enough to do the surgery.

My impression of Dr. Foster is that she is very straight forward. She understands the expectations that I have of her as a surgeon and she was just as forthcoming about her expectations of me as a patient. She took a long time going over the surgical risks and made sure I understood them.

She is a stickler about losing weight prior to scheduling anyone for surgery.

As far as aftercare goes, she does have a structured program that she explains in detail.

My only complaint is that her office is extremely busy. I have found that Tuesday's are the best days for appointments. Also if you need to contact Yvette, her surgical coordinator, it is best to do it by email.
